

Police arrest three youths following assault in St. John's
The RNC arrested three male youth following an assault in St. John’s on Tuesday evening. Police responded to a report of an assault at a restaurant in the west end of St. John’s. Upon arrival, officers located an injured 19-year-old male with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital for further medical treatment. Driver owing over $18K in fines arrested after ramming vehicle
The RNC were called to a call of unknown trouble in Paradise on Thursday evening. It was reported that a vehicle had rammed into another vehicle; however, the suspect vehicle had left the scene. While en route to the scene, police located the suspect vehicle that initially stopped for police but then fled when the officer approached the vehicle. Slowdowns on the TCH near Arnold’s Cove due to tractor trailer partially off the road
The RCMP is advising the public that the eastbound lane of the Trans-Canada Highway near Arnold’s Cove is blocked to traffic, due to a tractor trailer that has gone partially off the road.
