

Irate woman facing several charges after incident in Downtown St. John's
At around 8:30 a.m. on Monday, the RNC were dispatched to a retail store in the downtown area of St. John's in response to a female being verbally aggressive to customers. The 45-year-old female was arrested and held for court. She was charged with resisting arrest, two counts of uttering threats, one count of breach of a release order and one count of breach of probation.

Another increase in fuel prices
Fuel prices are up again today. Gas is up by 5.2 cents per litre. On the Island, diesel increased by up to 4.7 cents, while diesel in western Labrador increased by 4.3 cents. Furnace oil heating fuel on the Island is up 4.05 cents, and stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador went up 3.57 cents. The next price adjustment is on Wednesday.

Battery Believed to be the Cause of St. John’s House Fire on Monday Night
Firefighters with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department were called to a home on Eastbourne Crescent in the city’s east end just after 10:10 p.m. on Monday night.
