Woman Charged, Man Facing Multiple Charges After Break and Enter in St. John's

A 58-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man have been charged following a break and enter at a residence in the east end of St. John's on Saturday night.
The RNC responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at approximately 9:38 p.m. on Aug. 1.
Police said officers arrived at the residence and located a man and a woman inside. Following an investigation, officers determined the pair was not authorized to be in the home.
The 58-year-old woman was charged with break and enter and was released from custody. She is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
The 38-year-old man was charged with break and enter, resisting arrest, failing to comply with a court order and breach of probation. Police also discovered he was wanted on outstanding arrest warrants.
He was taken into custody and was scheduled to appear in court this morning.
