Windy and cold across the province tonight

Snow squalls are expected across the west coast tonight, up to 25 cm could fall. Windy conditions will persist across the Island tonight with gusts near 60 km/h, except on the Great Northern Peninsula, where gusts to 100 km/h are possible. Temperatures will range from minus 18 to minus 6.


Extreme cold continues across Labrador, especially in the west, where lows near minus 40 are expected. Windchill values between minus 45 and minus 50 are expected.
