Wet Weather Ahead for NL #nlwx


It looks like it will be quite a rainy week across Newfoundland. The heaviest rain will fall along the south coast.


There is a rainfall warning in effect for:

  • Burgeo - Ramea

  • Burin Peninsula

  • Channel-Port aux Basques and vicinity

  • Connaigre

In the above-listed areas, up to 80 mm of rain is possible from Port-aux-Basques to the Burin Peninsula. The rain will fall through Tuesday.


Aside from that, most areas of Newfoundland will see rain or at least a chance of rain through Thursday. Newfoundland will clear out on Friday.

  • St. John's 25-50 mm

  • Marystown 75-100 mm

  • Gander 25-30 mm

  • Port aux Basques 50-90 mm

  • Corner Brook 30-60 mm
