WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Unsettled weather persists

Snow on the Avalon will change to rain showers or flurries near noon, with another amount of 2 to 4 cm expected, followed by 2 mm of rain. Areas in central will see flurries changing to rain showers or flurries this morning, about 5 mm of rain is expected. There is a chance of showers on the West Coast. Flurries or showers are expected in eastern Labrador.

In central Newfoundland, Periods of rain or snow are expected on Sunday. It will be mostly cloudy elsewhere, and there is a chance of flurries on the Avalon. A mix of sun and cloud is expected in Labrador on Sunday.
