Newfoundland

Saturday starts out nice for most of the Island, snow will move in late in the day on the west coast.

An area of low pressure will move toward Newfoundland from the southwest on Saturday Night and Sunday morning and will bring snow to most of the Island. Snow is expected to begin late Saturday night, spreading across the Island overnight. The heaviest snowfall is likely on Sunday morning. The heaviest snow will fall across eastern and southeastern Newfoundland. There is the possibility of 15 cm of snow. Winds will also be gusty with possible gusts to 60 km/h, resulting in blowing snow.

Labrador

Labrador is actually looking at a nice weekend with mostly sunny skies on Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures near minus 10.
