Veterans Memorial Highway reopens after motor vehicle collision

UPDATE: Veterans Memorial Highway (Route 75) has reopened to traffic in both directions. Trinity-Conception District RCMP thanks all motorists for their patience and cooperation.

EARLIER: The Veterans Memorial Highway is closed in both directions between the Bay Roberts and North River exits due to a motor vehicle collision.

Motorists can use Route 70 as a detour, but should expect delays through the area. Please drive with caution and follow all instructions from emergency responders.
