Police impounded a vehicle in St. John’s on Monday morning after officers noticed it was in an unsafe condition.
Around 9:15 a.m. on August 25, RNC members spotted the vehicle on Elizabeth Avenue. The windshield was smashed, and several parts of the car appeared to be held together with duct tape.
A traffic stop was conducted, and the 40-year-old driver was found to be operating without insurance, a valid driver’s license, or proper tires.
The man was issued multiple summary offence tickets, and the vehicle was seized from the roadway.
