At least one person was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision that saw one vehicle land on its roof in St. John's on Wednesday.

Firefighters, along with other emergency personnel, received the call just before 5:30 p.m. for reports of a collision at the intersection of Brookfield Road and Finch Garden Place. Crews arrived to find one vehicle on its roof and another parked on a nearby road.

One person was treated on scene by first responders and was later taken to hospital. The driver of the other vehicle did not appear to have any injuries as a result of the collision.

Brookfield Road between Tobins Road and Finch Garden Place was closed for a period of time as crews worked to clear the collision.
