Vehicle Destroyed Two Homes Damaged Following Vehicle Fire in Mount Pearl

Firefighters from Mount Pearl fire station responded just before 8:00 a.m. this morning to reports of a vehicle on fire in Ashford Drive in Mount Pearl.

Firefighters arrived and were met with smoke and fire coming from a vehicle parked in the driveway. Crews quickly laid an attack line to knock down the flames before it could spread into two nearby homes.

Two homes sustained damage as a result of the fire. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Traffic was closed on Ashford Drive between Princeton Crescent and Dalhousie Crescent as firefighters and police attended the scene.
