Unsettled weather pattern persists overnight

Newfoundland

Showers or drizzle are expected on the Avalon and in central Newfoundland. Along the south coast, heavy rain is expected, giving amounts of 10 to 20 mm. Along the west coast, rain will end overnight with Port aux Basques and Corner Brook seeing 5 to 10 mm. On the Northern Peninsula, showers or drizzle will end overnight, then it will be mostly cloudy. Winds will continue to be strong. Expect lows from minus 4 to 13.

Labrador

Tonight, across western areas of Labrador, it will be partly cloudy with a chance of flurries. In the Churchill Valley area to Happy Valley-Goose Bay, showers or drizzle will end this evening, then it will be partly cloudy. Along the coast, there is a risk of showers or drizzle this evening. Winds across Labrador will continue to be strong. Highs will range from minus 28 to minus 2.
