Traffic delays expected on Main Road near Goulds fire station

Motorists travelling along Main Road near the Goulds Fire Station can expect brief delays starting Monday as underground infrastructure work gets underway near the construction site.

The work is scheduled to begin Aug. 17 and will involve temporarily shifting traffic around the work area.

Traffic will continue to move in both directions, but drivers should expect short delays and follow posted signs, barricades and directions from workers on site.

An alternative pedestrian route will also be provided.

The traffic impacts are expected to continue for approximately two weeks, although the timeline could change depending on the work.
