Three People Taken to Hospital Following Three-Vehicle Collision in St. John’s

Three people were taken to hospital following a three-vehicle collision in St John’s on Monday Afternoon.

Emergency personnel were called to the intersection of Topsail Road and Cowan Avenue at approximately 1:26 p.m. on Monday afternoon. Firefighters from nearby Brookfield fire station arrived and quickly assessed the injured people involved in the collision.

In total, three people were taken to hospital as a result of the collision. Two people were taken to hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. While the other person was taken to hospital for precautionary measures.

Two vehicles sustained significant damage while the other vehicle sustained minor to moderate damage.

Some detours were in place at the intersection of Topsail Road near Cowan Avenue due to the collision.
