At first glance today, the forecast doesn't look too bad. Most areas will see a mix of sun and cloud. It will be noticeably colder across Labrador.

Thursday evening and overnight, rain will move into southern, eastern, and central Newfoundland. The heaviest rain will fall over the Avalon, Burin, and Connaigre Peninsulas. Rainfall amounts of 70 to 100 mm are possible. Gusty winds are also expected.
