Temperature records broken in Newfoundland


A few spots in Newfoundland broke temperature records on Friday.


St. John's International Airport reached a temperature of 28.1 beating the old record of 25.6 set in 1949.


St. Lawrence reached 24.5 beating the old record of 23.6 set in 2005.


Winterland got up to 25.5. The old record of 24.9 was set in 2005.


Finally, in Gander, the record of 26.9 was tied with 2005.
