Subtropical Storm Ana has formed

The first storm of the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season has formed.


Subtropical Storm Ana formed this morning. The storm has maximum sustained winds are near 75 km/h with higher gusts.


The storm poses no threat to Canada or the United States.


There is a Tropical Storm Watch in effect for Bermuda. Tropical storm conditions are possible on Bermuda today.


The storm is expected to weaken through tonight and Sunday before dissipating in a couple of days.


The Atlantic Hurricane Season runs from June 1 to November 30.
