Studded Tire Season Ends Today

It's time to take your studded tires off.

Digital Government and Service NL is reminding residents of Newfoundland and Labrador that today is the last day to have studded tires removed from their vehicles.

Under the Highway Traffic Act, studded tire use is only permitted between November 1 and April 30.

The Minister of Digital Government and Service NL has the authority to extend the deadline in cases where it is deemed prudent due to inclement weather.
