Stormy weather to persist overnight

Snow and blowing snow will continue tonight with another 10 cm expected for the Avalon Peninsula and 5 to 10 cm for most of central Newfoundland. The snow should end by morning. Western areas of the province will see overcast conditions with a risk of flurries. Lows tonight from minus 5 to minus 1 are expected.

Across Labrador tonight, there is a chance of flurries in eastern and central regions and cloudy periods inland with lows from minus 28 to minus 12.
