Storm Closures for Wednesday, Feb 15, 2023

Post Secondary

  • Memorial's St. John's, Marine Institute and Signal Hill campuses, including the Childcare Centre, are closed for the morning for faculty, staff and students. Update at 10 am.

  • CNA Clarenville Campus will be closed for the morning with an update at 10:30 am.

  • CNA Ridge Road campus will be closed for the morning. Update at 11 am.

  • CNA Seal Cove campus will be closed for the morning. Update at 11 am.

  • CNA Carbonear campus will be closed for the morning. Update by 11 am. Online classes continue as scheduled.

  • CNA Prince Philip Drive campus (incl. childcare centre, Topsail Road Office & the Anna Templeton Centre) are closed for the morning with an update at 11 am. Online courses will continue as scheduled.

  • CNA Placentia campus will be closed for the day.

  • CNA Bonavista campus will be closed for the morning with an update at 10:30 am. Online classes will continue as scheduled.

  • CNA Burin campus will be closed for the morning. Update by 11 am. Online classes will continue as scheduled.

  • CNA Gander campus two-hour delayed opening. Online classes will continue as scheduled.

  • St. John’s Campuses of Academy Canada and Eastern Academy will be closed for the morning with an update at 11 am.

  • École des Grands-Vents will be close for the day.

Government

  • Provincial Government offices in the St. John’s metro region will be closed for the morning, except for those staff who have been advised to come in to work. An update will be provided at 11:00 am.

  • Due to inclement weather, waste collection is cancelled for today in St. John's.

  • Robin Hood Bay Residential Drop Off will be closed all day.

  • City buildings will be closed for the morning with an update at 11 am in St. John's. This includes City Hall and all recreation facilities.

  • Municipal facilities in Mount Pearl are closed with an update at 10:30 am.

  • Paradise municipal facilities are closed with an update at 11:00 am.

  • Conception Bay South municipal facilities closed with an update at 8:30 am.

Travel

  • Bell Island Ferries not running due to severe weather.

  • Several delays at St. John's International Airport.

  • MetroBus will begin service at 10:30 am.

Other

  • Early Achievers Montessori School will be closed for the morning with an update at 10:30 am.

  • Choices for Youth locations are closed for the morning with an update at 11:00 am.

  • All St. John's Public Libraries will be closed for the morning. CBS Public Library is also closed for the morning. There will be an update at 11 am.

  • QuickPrint Services has a delayed opening until 12.

  • Dicks & Company Basics in St. John's and Carbonear will be closed with an update at 10:00 am.

  • Music Collection has a delayed opening this morning with an update at 11:00 am.

  • Mary Brown's Centre will open at noon.
