Snowy conditions shift west and north

The weather in eastern Newfoundland has finally shown some improvement. A mix of sun and cloud is expected today for the Avalon and cloudy in central. Along the west coast some flurries are expected with Port aux Basques likely picking up 2 cm. Highs will range from minus 5 to minus 1.


Snow is expected across most of Labrador with Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Churchill Falls seeing 2 to 4 cm and Nain seeing 5 cm. Highs from minus 17 to minus 5 are expected.
