Snow, rain, and freezing rain expected across Labrador


The weather across Labrador today won't be too bad, but that will change tonight with snow, rain, and freezing rain expected.


From this evening until Tuesday morning or afternoon 15 to 20 cm of snow is expected this includes Churchill Fall, Churchill Valley, Hopedale and vicinity, and Postville - Makkovik.


For Upper Lake Melville and Rigolet and vicinity 15 to 20 cm of snow is expected and freezing rain could last for about six hours.


Nain and vicinity will see about 10 to 15 cm of snow.


The Trans-Labrador Highway from Upper Lake Melville to Cartwright, and Cartwright to Lodge Bay will see total rainfall of 10 to 20 mm.


Strong winds are expected across Labrador with gusts between 70 and 100 km/h.
