Snow causing travel problems
The weather alerts may have ended across Newfoundland but the impacts of the severe weather persist.
Roads across central and western Newfoundland are snow covered and travel is not recommended from Badger to South Brook and from South Brook to Triton due to icy and slushy patches, and drifting snow.
Some areas received significant amounts of snow. As of 7:00 am this morning, Gander recorded 20.1 cm of snow based on data from CoCoRaHS.
Snow is still falling across much of the Island but should come to an end later this morning.
