It will continue to be quite stormy across the Island today, with snow expected for the west coast and portions of central, and a mix of precipitation for the east.
The heaviest snowfall is expected along the northeast coast of Newfoundland, with a total accumulation of 30 to 35 cm. Along the west coast and south coast, 20 to 35 cm of snow is expected. On the Avalon and Burin, some freezing rain is possible this morning, before precipitation transitions to rain. Highs from minus 3 to plus 9 are expected. Winds become an issue this evening and overnight.
Labrador escapes this low also with a few flurries in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, sunny skies in Nain, and sun and cloud in Labrador City with highs ranging from minus 21 to minus 8.
