Several incidents in CBS lead to arrest of 21-year-old

Two vehicles rammed into each other near Villa Nova Plaza last night and then fled the scene.

Police later received a complaint of a possible impaired driver near Squires Avenue in Manuals.

Officers located the vehicle and had to swerve away to avoid being rammed. Officers quickly determined the vehicle was stolen. When officers tried to conduct a traffic stop the vehicle fled from officers.

After a short distance, the driver stopped the vehicle fled on foot and was pursued on foot by officers. Police Dog Services were en route to the call and assisted Patrol with the apprehension.

A 21-year-old male with, Dangerous Operation of a conveyance, Flight from police, and, Possession of property obtained by crime (stolen vehicle). The accused was conveyed to the city lock-up and held for a court appearance.
