Several communities under evacuation order near Kingston

A mandarory evacuation order has been issued for the Towns of Small Point–Adam’s Cove–Blackhead–Broad Cove and Kingston due to a wildfire.

The wildfire is approximately one kilometre from the community.

Water bombers, helicopters, and ground crews are all working on fire suppression.

A reception centre has been set up at Persalvic School Complex in Victoria.
