RCMP seizes drugs, cash and high-end jewellery in St. Anthony

The RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence in St. Anthony on Saturday and seized drugs, cash and more than $30,000.00 in high-end jewellery.

RCMP seized high-end jewellery pieces valued at more than $30,000.00, nearly $2000.00 in cash, 1.5 ounces of cocaine, nearly 130 grams of illicit cannabis and other items consistent with drug trafficking.

Police began the investigation back in March.

Police arrested 41-year-old Ryan Ricks for possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of illicit cannabis.

The accused was released from custody on conditions and will attend court at a later date.
