One Taken to Hospital Following Two-Vehicle Crash on Kenmount Road

A two-vehicle collision on Kenmount Road in St. John’s resulted in one individual being transported to the hospital on Monday evening. Emergency crews, including firefighters from the Mount Pearl station, were dispatched to the intersection of Kenmount Road and Mount Carson Avenue at approximately 7:42 p.m.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered two vehicles with extensive damage. Paramedics and officers from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary soon joined the scene to assist. One person was stabilized by emergency personnel and moved into an ambulance for treatment of injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

The incident led to significant traffic delays in the area, with authorities restricting travel on Kenmount Road to a single lane for those heading toward Paradise while the scene was cleared.
