RCMP arrests wanted woman following collision in Grand Falls-Windsor

The RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Saturday evening, around 7:30 p.m. on Pinsent Drive in Grand Falls-Windsor.

A 48-year-old woman was arrested after police learned she was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant and in possession of cocaine.

No injuries were reported; however, during the investigation at the scene, police learned that one of the drivers was the subject of an active police warrant.

The woman was taken into custody and transported to the detachment. During a search, officers also found and seized a quantity of cocaine and charged the woman with possession of a controlled drug or substance. She was released with conditions and is expected to appear in court in February 2026.
