Santa made a special trip to Happy Valley-Goose Bay to deliver his 15th Annual Toys for the North delivery on December 7th.
Over 1,300 toys have now made their way across the big land to youths living in Labrador’s coastal communities.
The RCMP-led initiative, Toys for the North, delivers holiday gifts to youth living in northern communities across Canada.
Labrador District RCMP officers, along with RCMP Air Services and the Canadian Toy Association, Thomson Terminals Limited, the Royal Canadian Air Force, 5 Wing Goose Bay, and Woodward Aviation worked together to organize this event.
The toys will be distrubuted to youth ages 0 to 11 in 14 communities in Labrador.
In total, more than 1,300 toys were distributed across Labrador this December as part of the Toys for the North initiative.
