Rainy day ahead for Newfoundland

Rain is expected across the Island portion of the province today. On the Avalon Peninsula and central Newfoundland, rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 mm are expected. Along the south coast, 5 to 15 mm are expected. The Port aux Basques area will receive 20 to 30 mm, while the west coast will see 10 to 15 mm. Highs from 5 to 10 are expected.

There will be a chance of flurries for most of Labrador, while light snow is possible in the Happy Valley-Goose Bay area. Temperatures will range from minus 19 to plus 1.
