Rain for the east coast, snow for the west coast

On the Avalon today, expect showers with about 5 mm expected. It will be mostly cloudy in central areas. Along the west coast, some snow is expected. Corner Brook will see about 5 cm, and St. Anthony will see similar amounts. Highs will range from minus 1 to plus 7.

Conditions will be much nicer across Labrador with a mix of sun and cloud and temperatures ranging from minus 9 to minus 8.
