Rain expected for portions of the Island

Central and western Newfoundland will see rain today, and snow is expected over the higher elevations of the Long Range Mountains from Corner Brook up the Northern Peninsula. Across the southern half of Newfoundland and the Avalon Peninsula, there is a chance of showers. Across the province today, high temperatures will range from 4 to 7 degrees.

In Labrador, there is a chance of flurries for most areas this morning. Highs will range from 0 to 3.
