Rain and strong winds expected for parts of Newfoundland

Rain will begin to swing across Newfoundland today. Along the west coast, Port aux Basques could see 20 mm of rain and Corner Brook will see about 10 mm. More rain is expected tonight. Winds in these areas will also be gusty with gusts up to 60 km/h expected.

Elsewhere across Newfoundland, the rain will move west to east and reach central and eastern areas tonight.

In Labrador, Labrador City will see 10 mm of rain today and flurries tonight.
