Rain across the Island today

Today will be quite different across the Island. Rain is expected across the province with about 10 mm expected along the west coast, south coast, and central. Rainfall amounts of 5 mm are expected. Highs will be from 13 to 21.

In the Labrador City area, some showers are expected this afternoon, and there is a risk of thunderstorms. In Churchill Falls, it will be cloudy. Smoke is expected in both areas. There is a risk of showers in Happy Valley-Goose Bay and a mix of sun and cloud in Nain. Highs will be from 9 to 22.
