Quick moving low will push across the Island today #nlwx

A fast-moving area of low pressure will move across Newfoundland today, with rain expected for most areas. Parts of the west coast will see more snow than rain. Winds will be gusty. It's important to note that the rain will not reach Avalon until this evening. Highs from 2 to 12 are expected.

Nicer weather is expected across Labrador with highs from minus 7 to minus 14.

A stronger storm will impact the Island this weekend.
