Province enters agreement with Pan Maritime to support offshore wind platforms

Minister of Energy and Mines Lloyd Parrott has announced a partnership with Pan Maritime Energy Solutions to advance the company’s technology that will be used to help anchor floating offshore wind platforms.

Under the partnership, there will be a $1.1 million investment by both the Provincial Government and the company. The result will be a new underwater drilling system for seabed anchors that is faster, more affordable and more environmentally friendly than traditional methods.

Phase one of the project will create five full-time jobs.
