Police charge male with impaired driving following ATV crash in Labrador City last June

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) charge male with impaired driving in relation to an ATV collision on June 5th, 2024.
On Wednesday, June 5th, 2024, at 10:51 p.m. RNC Officers in Labrador City responded to a reported single vehicle ATV collision on Bartlett Drive in Labrador City. The driver of the ATV was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threating injuries. The heavily damaged ATV was towed from
the scene. A forensic laboratory examination was conducted and returned results showing
the male had just over double the legal limit of alcohol in his system at the time of
the ATV collision. On October 5th, 2024, the 30 year old male was charged with Impaired Driving and Driving Over the Legal Limit. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
