Pierre Poilievre has survived a leadership review at the Conservative Convention in Calgary.
Poilievre received 87.4 percent support in the vote. He has vowed to remain as party leader.
In the last federal election, Poilievre lost his seat in Carleton. He then contested the riding of Battle River—Crowfoot in Alberta, where a by-election was triggered following the resignation of Conservative MP Damien Kurek. Poilievre won the by-election on August 18.
He has been the leader of the opposition since September 10, 2022.
The Conservative Convention took place in Calgary from January 29 to today.
