Period of very warm weather begins across the province

Temperatures will soar into the high 20s and low 30s across Newfoundland and Labrador today.

These temperatures will last most of the work week, at least until Wednesday across the Island. Some areas will see humidex values reaching 35. Little relief is expected overnight with lows between 17 and 20.

It'll be another hot day in Labrador today with highs near 30 and humidex values near 35.
