No Seriously Injuries After Vehicle Hits Car then Slams Into St. John’s Home

Firefighters were called to the area of Rowen Street and Pine Bud Avenue in St. John’s just after 7:10 p.m. today.

When crews arrived, a two-vehicle collision had occurred in the Churchill Square parking lot. The vehicle then continued down Rowen Street, crossing over Pine Bud Avenue, then slamming into a living room area in a nearby home. The home sustained significant damage, including a part of the chimney that was broken off due to the collision.

All occupants of both vehicles did not sustain any serious injuries as a result.

Pine Bud Avenue between Rowen Street and Maple Street was closed as officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s collision reconstructionists investigated the collision.

It is unclear at this time what caused the vehicle to collide into the home.
