
No serious injuries after single vehicle dramatic crash in Portugal Cove-St. Philip's on Sunday

There were no serious injuries to report after a single vehicle rollover in Portugal Cove-St. Philip's on Sunday.
Firefighters with Portugal Cove-St. Philip's Fire Department along with paramedics with NL Health Services and the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to the call just after noon on Dogberry Hill Road in Portugal Cove-St. Philip's.
When firefighters arrived a single vehicle travelling on Dogberry Hill Road towards St Thomas Line had rolled several times, the vehicle then came to rest on its roof in the roadway. The vehicle took out trees and a sign in the process and snapped off it’s wheel.
The lone occupant of the vehicle was reported not to be injured as a result of the crash. The vehicle sustained significant damage.
Dogberry Hill Road Between Emylia Place and Country Garden Road were closed as police investigated the crash.
