No Injuries After Shed Catches Fire and Damages Two Homes in St. John’s on Monday

There were no injuries after a shed caught fire and damaged two homes in St. John’s on Monday evening.

Firefighters responded to a home on Dauntless Street in Kenmount Terrace at 5:40 p.m. as firefighters were responding there were reports of people still inside, when firefighters from Kenmount fire station arrived five minutes later they were met with heavy smoke and fire coming from a shed 12x16 shed and all people had been evacuated from the structures.

Crews quickly laid an attack line and knocked down the blaze before the fire could spread further into two nearby homes.

Two homes did sustain damage as a result of the fire and the shed has been destroyed. There were no injuries reported.
