Saturday

An area of low pressure will pass just south of Newfoundland today, bringing rain to eastern areas. Rainfall amounts of about 5 to 10 mm are expected. Winds will be gusty too, with gusts to 60 km/h expected. On the Baie Verte Peninsula, there is the possibility of flurries today. Labrador will see mostly sunny skies, and it will be warmer there than in Newfoundland.
