Nice weather today across the province, a storm is on the way #nlwx

It will be a nice but cold day across the province. Temperatures are about 10 degrees colder today compared to yesterday.

Significant weather is expected this weekend. In southeastern Newfoundland, 40 to 80 mm of rain is expected. In central and southwestern Newfoundland, 10 to 15 cm of snow is expected and 4 to 8 hours of freezing rain. Parts of the west coast and Northern Peninsula will see 15 to 30 cm of snow. Most of the island could see gusts exceeding 100 km/h from early Saturday into Sunday.
