Newfoundland basks in warm weather on Tuesday

People took advantage of the nice weather at Kenny's Pond Park in St. John's

There was no shortage of warm temperatures in Newfoundland on Tuesday.

Temperatures soared into the low double digits in some areas and people were quick to get out and enjoy the pleasant weather.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are about 5 degrees in St. John's, a temperature of 10.6 was recorded at the airport.

In Gander, the temperature reached 10.6 degrees and it was 14.4 degrees in Deer Lake.

Temperatures will be similar Wednesday.
