Newfoundland and Labrador Forecast for Monday, August 3

A wide range of temperatures is expected across Newfoundland and Labrador today, with the warmest weather settling over central and western sections of the province while cooler air lingers along the northern and eastern coasts.

In Labrador, highs will reach 24°C in Happy Valley-Goose Bay under a mix of sun and cloud. Nain is expected to climb to 20°C with a chance of showers, while Churchill Falls reaches 18°C and Labrador City 17°C, both with periods of rain. Along the coast, Hopedale remains cool at 13°C with rain, while Mary's Harbour sees a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 14°C.

Across Newfoundland, the warmest weather is expected on the west coast. Corner Brook will enjoy sunny skies and a high of 26°C, making it one of the warmest spots in the province. Port Saunders climbs to 19°C with a mix of sun and cloud.

Central Newfoundland will also be warm, with Gander reaching 23°C under partly sunny skies. Grand Falls-Windsor is forecast to reach 24°C under partly sunny skies.

Cooler temperatures persist along the northeast coast, with St. Anthony expected to reach 14°C under a mix of sun and cloud.

On the south coast and Avalon Peninsula, Marystown is forecast to reach 20°C with a mix of sun and cloud, while Port au Basques sees sunshine and a high of 17°C. In St. John's, expect a mix of sun and cloud with a cooler afternoon high of 16°C.
