More snow for parts of the province overnight

Newfoundland

On the Avalon, rain will transition back to snow tonight with about 2 cm expected.


Areas from Gander to Clarenville will see 5 to 10 cm of snow overnight. For Grand Falls-Windsor and Interior sections, 2 cm of snow is expected.


Snow will end this evening along the south coast with strong winds continuing. Light snow will also come to an end along the west coast. On the Northern Peninsula, 2 cm of snow is expected for the eastern half of the Peninsula.


Lows will be from minus 11 to minus 5.


Labrador

There is a chance of flurries overnight in western Labrador and for the southeast coast.


Happy Valley-Goose Bay and areas along the north and central coast will see clear skies to start, with clouds building overnight.


Lows overnight will range from minus 27 to minus 18.
