Montreal Canadiens beat the Tampa Bay to advance to round two of playoffs

The Montreal Canadiens are heading to the next round of the playoffs after beating the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa on Sunday Night.

The Canadiens took the game by a score of 2 to 1. In the first period, the Canadiens scored once, Tampa scored once in the second, and the Canadiens scored once in the third.

Alex Newhook and Nick Suzuki scored the goals on the Montreal side.

Montreal won the series 4 to 3.

In round two, the Montreal Canadiens will take on the Buffalo Sabres.
