The provincial government is launching a review of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act of 2015.
Minister Responsible for Access to Information and Protection of Privacy, Helen Conway Ottenheimer announced that Keri-Lynn Power will conduct the review.
Power has an extensive background in law, having been in private practice since 2006 at Regular Power Clarke Lawyers. She is also a volunteer.
The Act provides the public with a right to access government records as well as ensures that personal information that is collected, used or disclosed by public bodies is protected.
